The body of a Novato man who went missing 10 days ago was found by a hiker near the College of Marin's Indian Valley campus on Tuesday evening, a Marin County sheriff's lieutenant said.
Lt. Jamie Scardina identified the deceased man as 29-year-old Matthew Austria. He had been missing since May 11.
A hiker who was walking his dog found Austria's body around 6:15 p.m. when the dog started running toward a specific spot, Scardina said.
There were no signs of foul play in Austria's death, Scardina said.
