The Board
Al Dugan

Mr. Dugan,
I am writing to inform you that County staff sent this letter in error
without bringing it to a vote of the Board of Supervisors. We have
contacted the legislative staff to request that Marin County be removed
from the published list of supporters for this legislation until such
time as our Board of Supervisors has had the opportunity to review its
proposed approach more thoroughly.
Matthew Hymel
County Administrator

Subject: SB 1220
I am disappointed Marin county is supporting SB 1220. This is nothing
more than a $1B subsidy for builders and institutional investors based
on a regressive fee. It will then be used by ABAG to mandate their
vision that certainly appears to be based on flawed assumptions. I will
spend my time and money to do all I can to assure none of the current
supervisors are re-elected.
Any comments are welcomed.
Regards,
Al Dugan
