Sheri Cardo
A natural-born advocate, Sheri focuses most of her energy on animals and the environment, but, frankly, she has opinions about lots of things, which you will read here. She moved to Petaluma from San Francisco more than 20 years ago and works as a nonprofit PR professional. In the animal world, she has studied wild wolf recovery at Yellowstone, worked at the Marin Humane Society, chaired the Petaluma Animal Services Advisory Committee, graduated from Trish King’s Canine Behavior Academy, volunteers with BAD RAP (Bay Area Doglovers Responsible About Pit Bulls), and has rescued more dogs (and cats) than she can remember. A former board member of Sonoma County Conservation Action, she stays active in local politics, too. Sheri shares her own world with three remarkable dogs and one feisty feline, all liberal Democrats.
