Darn. Time to update yet again. Wish there was a cross-out font. So now I'm in my middle school "gap" year. Two kids at high school. One in elementary. All can WALK to school. Oh, yeah, I can officially erase my tattoo that says "If Rancho were a neighborhood school, it would be my kid's neighborhood school." We all know, of course, that Rancho is now a neighborhood school. THE PREVIOUS BABBLE:
If you haven't figured it out by now, I've got kids. I have one in elementary, one in middle, and one in high school. With the closure of Hill Middle School, I'm spending my carpool driving days with hundreds of others trying to navigate getting my younger kids to school on time each and every day. Oh, the joys!
I used to be the director of media and public relations for a (formerly) large metropolitan newspaper, but I chucked it all awhile back. I now do social and public policy research project work. I'd tell you all about it, but governmental agencies seem to frown on people leaking information. Go figure.
When I'm not driving my kids to dance or soccer or schools far away from where we live, I'm feeding them junk food, letting them watch entirely too much television, and yelling at them. Were it not for the latter, they'd definitely nominate me for Mother of the Year. (I wouldn't win.)
