Marty Garcia-Cotter, Neighbor

I was born back East (Oakland), lived in Marin since 1983 and have been a Novato resident since 1993. My wife and I have two kids who are both graduates of our often wonderful Novato public schools and are now both following their muses in performing arts education.

Over the course of my life so far I have come to understand that I know far less than I don't know, I am open to a lot more possibilities than I used to be, and that the nature of things is almost always more that meets the eye. Knowing - or not knowing - all that, I consider myself an observer and student of life and from time to time form a series of thoughts worth sharing here. I love feedback and discourse, whether you agree with me or not. I learn from it all.
