As part of the Hamilton Child Development Center, the Novato State Preschool Program is a state funded preschool forMore qualified low income families in Marin County. Since they are a state subsidized program, families must first see if they qualify before their children can be put on the waiting list. The Novato State Preschool Program is usually at capacity, 12, so persons on the waiting list usually take between 6 months and 1 year to get their children enrolled in the program. 

This non-profit center provides a wide array of services to their enrolled families including English classes, a Kindergarten readiness program, parenting classes, Early Intervention Program for language and speech, vision care from Dominican College, and much more.
