Growing up in Novato my dad used to take me fishing at Stafford Lake and I have a lot of memories there. I now work in Novato at an office very close to this park. It makes a great escape to get away for lunch and the hustle and bustle. Expect to pay a $7.00 parking fee. It is thriving with wildlife and quiet and relaxing. Recently I saw California ground squirrels, Canadian geese, Great White Egrets, and Common Terns. This was the first time I have ever seen Common Terns.
