American Cancer Society's Bark For Life 2011

Novato Relay For Life hands it over to the Dogs for the 2nd year in its Annual “Bark For Life” Fundraiser.  It is a time to honor the care- giving qualities of pets in our lives, and also honor those animals in their own fight against cancer.

On Saturday, May 21, Novato’s Relay For Life  will em”bark” on its second annual Dog Walk and Pup Event at DogBone Meadows Dog Park to help raise money for the American Cancer Society.

The event takes place from 10am-12pm, with opening ceremonies at 10am and walking and playing time following.  Novato’s own "The Country Vet" is one of the main sponsors of the event, as well as VCA Animal Hospital in Rohnert Park.  Other exhibitors and donors include Fit N Furry, Bridewell Kennels,  and In Defense of Animals Foundation.
