Soroptimist International of Novato announces Winner of Women’s Opportunity Award

Soroptimist International of Novato, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment, is pleased to announce the 2013 recipient of the Women’s Opportunity Award.

Jasmine Bratt of San Francisco, a single mother and a student at Indian Valley College enrolled in the Dental Assisting Program, is awarded the prestigious Women’s Opportunity Award.

The Women’s Opportunity Awards program provides women who serve as the primary wage earners for their families with the financial resources to offset costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education or additional skills and training. 

Ms. Bratt received the $2,000 award at the regular business meeting of the Soroptimist International of Novato club on February 19, 2014 at Mary’s Pizza Shack.
