Novato Festival Makes a Call for Volunteers

Planning is in the final home stretch for the 29th annual festival that will bring 70,000-80,000 people to Grant Avenue on June 9-10.

"We're looking for outgoing, hard-working team players to volunteer," said festival co-chair Janette Morrow.
Volunteer responsibilities for all age groups include staffing street closures, the distribution of ice, beverages and glasses to the pouring stations and floaters, who can be used to fill in additional front-of-the-house positions during festival set-up and public hours Community service hours are also available.

The festival's hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 9, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 10.
