He qualified for the Beaverton, Ore., Elite 11 as one of the top quarterbacks out of the San Francisco Elite 11 Regional camp.

Wilkins is among three Pacific-12 Conference recruits who've received high marks in an ESPN.com Elite 11 analysis.

Marin Catholic's Morgan Mahalak, an Oregon commit, and Palo Alto's Keller Chryst (Stanford) are the others.

Wilkins is the No. 12-rated dual-threat quarterback in his class according to ESPN.com. Wilkins moved to Marin from Texas during his sophomore year. He is coming off a junior year in which he put up monstrous numbers, leading the Mustangs to the North Coast Section Division IV finals.

Wilkins threw for 2,335 yards and 19 touchdowns and rushed for 567 yards and seven scores.

Wilkins committed to ASU after also receiving offers from Colorado State and Arizona.
