Women's Soccer Exhibition Game Set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Novato High

Here is a treat for soccer fans in Novato — and it's free: Come and see the University of San Francisco women's soccer team battle the California Storm in a 2 p.m. exhibition game Saturday at the field. This game is presented by the Novato Youth Soccer Association.

The USF Dons finished a 5-13-3 season in November under coach Mark Carr. Team has one Marin resident, former Terra Linda High midfielder Tyler Campagna, who was recently named the team's Freshman of the Year. Fellow freshman Christina Moberg was recently named the team's offensive MVP at the team's postseason banquet.

The Storm, established in 1998, are members of the Women's Premier Soccer League and play their home games in the Sacramento area. The team compiled a 12-2 record in 2010.
