Novato Middle School Chess Tournament Set for June 6

Novato Chess Club, in conjunction with the Novato Sunrise Rotary Club, will host the Novato Middle School Chess Tournament at San Jose Middle School Library on June 6. Kids in fourth through eighth grades are eligilble to participate.

If you are interested in registering your chess team/or club, son or daughter, register with info@haywardyouthacademy.org and Chris Major, President of North Coast Youth Academy.

We thank our partners at San Jose Middle School, Lynwood Elementary (Chessmaster Martin), Olive Elementary (Berkeley Chess Club), Hamilton Elementary (Jeff Kubiak), Hill Middle School, Novato Charter School, Sinaloa Middle School (Rob Sundberg), and San Marin High School (Mike Spinrad). Novato Chess Club  acknowledges its corporate partnership with Rotary Club of Novato Sunrise and Brendan Moylan of Moylan's Brewery & Restaurant for 2010-2011. Their support of afterschool chess, critical thinking,  and social development at San Jose Middle School began October 13, 2010, we are proud of the student(s) participation in our first year in Novato.
