Novato Kids Fight Back Against Cancer with 'Mini' Relay For Life Today

On Saturday, April 9, the Novato Unified School District Students from all elementary and middle schools are volunteering their time to come out and Fight Back against cancer with the American Cancer Society by doing a "Mini Relay For Life" Event at San Marin High School from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 

Games and prizes, along with fitness activities and activities will be going on the entire time. San Marin Boosters Club will be selling lunch in the snack shack as well.  Students are also doing some fundraising within their schools, and will be learning about ways to prevent cancer in their own lives and to stay fit and make healthy eating choices.  Permission slips went out to homes in March and are available at the schools.

Among the groups donating time to help with this event are: Whole Foods of Novato, TJ's Crossfit Gym/Crossfit Kids, Love2Dance, Starbucks of San Marin, Body Kinetics Gym of Novato/Mill Valley.
