RALLY AGAINST MORE HIGH DENSITY HOUSING IN MARIN

RALLY to PRESERVE MARIN’S
SMALL TOWN CHARACTER

• Friday, February 7
• 4 – 6 pm (we will wrap a little earlier if it’s raining)
• 195 Tamal Vista Blvd, Corte Madera

On the sidewalk in front of the Wincup monstrosity, Marin Citizens will be urging our County Supervisors and all our City Councils to Just Say NO to more high density. Numerous ‘Transit Oriented Developments’, ‘Priority Development Areas’, ‘Overlays’ and underhanded schemes are being foisted on the people of Marin County, from Strawberry to Larkspur Landing to Marin City and Marinwood.
We are running out of water, our schools are crowded, and developments like these will increase pollution, not decrease it. We believe the only ‘green’ coming of these expensive plans are the funds going into developer pockets and bureaucracies’ coffers.

We’re a loosely organized grassroots group fighting back, and it’s important to send a message NOW while we can stop projects like the Larkspur “Station Area Plan”, 5 times the number of units as Wincup. The IJ will note how people are there and we can’t afford to be described as a small group. We will have a few extra signs...or make your own. Please join us and send a message to our elected officials!
