PICK OF THE WEEK: TREK WINERY
Since opening its tasting room doors to the public in September 2012, this family-owned winery has become a favorite local gathering spot as well as a premier destination for live entertainment.
Situated in the heart of Old Town Novato, Trek Winery produces all its wine on site from grapes sourced in some of the finest North Bay vineyards. Winemaker/owner Andy Podshadley and his wife Liz bring seventeen years of wine business experience to the table, and have won numerous awards for their distinctive wines which offer customers the best in choice and affordability.
Patrons can relax in the modern main tasting room which offers a spacious floor plan with cozy seating clusters and tables. There is also a substantial heated outdoor patio with several comfortable conversation areas situated around fire-pits.

A large separate “barrel” room and smaller “cask” room provide the perfect venues for weddings, company parties, or private gatherings. But perhaps Trek’s best kept secret is its impressive monthly roster of musicians and bands, along with “A list” comedy shows featuring top notch national talent.
