Olive Kids Jump for Joy About Reading

Fourth-graders take a Black Eyed Peas song and turn it into a message about literacy by performing at a Novato Unified School District meeting.

Fran Rozoff's students at Olive Elementary School are fired up about reading. They proved it Tuesday night by singing and dancing before the Novato Unified School District trustees and an audience of beaming parents.

The kids used the song "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas that was originally adapted by another school in Southern California.

Way to liven up the meeting, kids!
