Much Achieved on San Marin's Senior Service Day

Student contributed in many community service projects.

Senior Service Day, held in May, was a huge success for the students at and the organizations on the receiving end of all the help. Here is a synopsis of all that took place, courtesy of faculty member Fran Cunnie.

Bunker Hill, Hamilton: The students cleaned up the graffiti on Bunker Hill, working with the city's Department of Public Works. The first day they were trained on how to use the equipment and the second day they got to paint. The teacher leader was Jeff Moore, who said he really enjoyed the project.

Lu Sutton Elementary School: Mothers Day flowers project with the students. They also taught them a little Spanish at the same time.
