MSA Scores at Monterey Jazz Festival
Big band and jazz choir make finals at national jazz conference.
Students from the Big Band (Jazz 1) and Vocal Ensemble (Jazz Choir) were selected as finalists at the prestigious Monterey Jazz Festival's 42nd Annual "Next Generation Jazz Festival," with the Jazz Choir taking third place in the High School Vocal Ensemble division.
The event, held March 31-April 1 at the Monterey Conference Center, is open to all high schools across the country and around the world with selection as a finalist through recorded auditions and adjudicated by jazz industry professionals.
