Japanese Students Visit San Marin High

Kids from Sukuoka, Japan, spend morning visiting classes.

welcomed 42 Japanese exchange students from Seinan Gakuin High School in Sukuoka, Japan on March 28. The students are participating in a two-week foreign exchange program and requested to visit San Marin in the morning. They all have had at least three years of English and shadowed San Marin students during their morning period classes.  The group of 38 girls and four boys, aged 15-17, spent the morning learning and participating in an American high school as more than 50 San Marin students served as student guides.

Adam Littlefield, San Marin principal, arranged the visit and said, “The visit was a great opportunity for students from both schools. It was amazing to see high school age students from different cultures quickly come together to share their interests."
