Safety Day at Sinaloa is geared to middle school staff, students and their families.  The event is open to all students in grades 6-8, and their families.

There will be lots of information on first aid and emergency preparedness, as well as food, games and a raffle.  The Novato Fire District will be on-site from 11AM-1PM, leading workshops on first aid, conducting a fire hose demonstration and a live fire extinguisher training.

Red Cross Bay Area, Wilderness First Aid, and DefensePro are slated to have tables at this event.  There will be mannequins on-hand for you to practice CPR, and the Novato Police Department will be giving presentations on "Street Safety".

Come view some of Sinaloa's disaster supplies, and learn what you should have in your home and vehicle to be prepared.

Pick up and complete an emergency preparedness quiz and get a cookie.  If you answer all questions correctly you will be entered in a drawing to win a 3-Day Emergency Kit valued at $100.

See you on Sunday, May 20th!
