Robert Doyle has been the elected Sheriff of Marin County since 1988. In 2010, he also became our County's Sheriff-Coroner. He is a Novato resident.
His education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Sonoma State University.

Sheriff Doyle's law enforcement experience began as a Deputy Sheriff in 1969. Prior to that, he served in the U.S. Army and is a Viet Nam veteran.
