Lend A Hand to A Senior Volunteer Recruitment Event

LEND A HAND TO A SENIOR! A WORKSHOP ABOUT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES TO ASSIST SENIORS. Marin County nonprofits come together to outline volunteer opportunities available within their programs. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 28th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Margaret Todd Senior Center 1560 Hill Road, Novato.  Individuals with all levels of skill and background experiences are encouraged to attend. Representatives from Hospice by the Bay, JFCS Seniors at Home, LITA (Love is the Answer), Marin Center for Volunteer and Non-Profit Leadership, Novato Community Hospital/Project Independence, Novato Independent Elders, Novato Human Needs Center, Marin County Health and Human Services, Senior Peer Counseling and HOPE programs, and Whistlestop will outline their volunteer opportunities. Following the panel presentation, representatives and volunteers from each agency will be available to share more information and provide volunteer applications.
