Public and Private Housing Providers are invited to attend the “Fair Housing Law and Practice Seminar” on September 12 at the Novato Oaks Inn, 1:00pm - 4:00 pm - Presented by Fair Housing of Marin. 

Learn how to avoid future allegations of discrimination.  Topics include:  Overview of federal and state fair housing laws; Reasonable accommodations and modifications for people with disabilities; Protections for families with children; Advertising; Steering, blockbusting; Harassment and retaliation; Evictions; Tenant selection criteria; Administrative complaints; Developing proactive fair housing policies.
