A six year old boy will be recognized for hearing a smoke alarm while walking with his Mother. Nick prompted his Mother to call 9-1-1. The house had a fire that had just started. He is considered to have made a huge difference in the response time from the Novato Fire District. The NFD will present an award to Nick at his school, Rancho Elementary on December 3rd, at 8:30 a.m. This is a school event only.
