Event will focus on issues of quality, equity and access

A public School Board candidate forum moderated by local CBS Anchor Dana King. (Moderator and audience questions.)

MarinKids and the League are co-hosting this Forum in order to facilitate a meaningful dialogue with Novato School Board candidates so that parents, teachers, administrators, students and other community members can learn about the candidates’ positions on the critical challenges of Marin’s largest k-12 school district.

The League of Women Voters of Marin County has partnered with many community organizations over the years to host candidate forums to educate voters on local elections. They value principles of fairness in all their Forums.

MarinKids is a policy and advocacy campaign and the new voice for children and youth in Marin. It is their goal to partner with the community to improve policies that protect children and youth, and ensure that ALL Marin’s kids have access to comprehensive healthcare, healthy food and a high quality education.
