Young Dancer Dazzles County Supervisors

Jase Butler of Novato, a hit on TV, performs at a Marin County Board of Supervisors meeting.

Jase Butler's dance moves keep attracting big-time attention. On Tuesday, the Hamilton Meadow Park School second-grader from Novato showed his skills in front of the Marin County Board of Supervisors, which issued a proclamation of congratulations for his exploits. In October, Jase was shown dancing during a competition on the "Today" show.

Judy Arnold, the Fifth District supervisor who represents most of Novato, said Jase was "an inspiration to all of us" and that she especially liked his robot and moonwalk moves.

“I was honored to invite Jase ... to come to the Board of Supervisor’s meeting to dance for us and was inspired by his self-assurance and passion to follow his dreams,” Arnold said.
