What's Your Vision for North Redwood Corridor?

One idea city has is to turn area into a luxury shopping center, where residents could shop, dine and workout.

What would you like to see the city develop North Redwood Corridor, from Olive Avenue to San Marin Drive?

Should it be a shopping center, and if so, what stores does downtown Novato need?

Or should it be something different, like ballfields, tennis courts and a community center?

Novato residents will be able to chime in about their vision for the now-vacant area when city holds two planning workshops next month.

These workshops will feature volunteer architects, real estate professionals, and city staff to assist participants in visualizing what is possible for the North Redwood Corridor.

The first workshop will be held Saturday, September 14, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and the second is scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 9:00 a.m. – 12pm. There will also be an optional walking tour on Thursday, September 12 from 6 to 7:30pm.

Both workshops will be held at Margaret Todd Senior Center, 1560 Hill Road.
