Amazing tidbits and facts about the county’s crops and livestock have been released in the annual Marin County Crop Report, and our county government has produced this video to share the findings.

When the county began webcasting its Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission meetings, the idea to create public service videos was born. The county produces a variety of short, informative clips that the public can readily use in their daily lives while also increasing government transparency. The topics include public health, emergency preparedness and energy conservation.

While the live meeting broadcasts provide lengthy, in-depth coverage of the county’s decision-making processes, these information videos are designed to provide a brief overview of targeted programs in less than five minutes. The county works in conjunction with Community Media Center of Marin and to reach audiences in new ways through the government-sponsored channels.
