So news of his arrest Monday in San Diego on suspicion of battery, as reported in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, comes as a surprise.

According to the article, Carrillo said he was socializing in a group of friends when outsiders began harrassing the female members of the group. Carrillo said he stepped up to defend the women.
