Residents Give Romney Edge in First Presidential Debate

Patch hosted a presidential debate viewing party in Novato Wednesday and the consensus was that the Republican nominee fared well.

President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney squared off Wednesday night in the first of three presidential debates, and Patch hosted a debate viewing party at the Novato Fire District to mark the occasion.

Residents and Patch editors gathered in the district's Heritage Room, scarfing down pizza from nearby Moylan's as the two candidates squared off. As you can see from the video above, many of the attendees, regardless of their political persuasion, gave Romney the edge afterwards.

Thanks to everyone who came out to watch with us and share your views on the presidential debate and the election so far!
