The Novato City Council tonight will hold a hearing on the proposed operating and capital budgets for the upcoming fiscal year.
The hearing will be held jointly with the Novato Public Finance Authority. It will include public testimony.
The council will also hold Wildwood Glen, San Pablo Subdivision, San Marin and Hillside Park Landscape Assessment District hearings.

The council will also address two consent calendar items.
The proposed $563,742 construction and pavement rehabilitation contract and the adoption of a resolution authorizing the city manager to apply for an $11,190 Department of Justice grant to purchase 10 bulletproof vests for the police department both have the city staff's blessings.
