Measuring Voter Loyalty for Fire District Board Race

We’re in the home stretch during this campaign season, and you know what that means: Those campaign signs will be gone soon.

But it’s more than that. There’s that task of casting our ballots in the Nov. 8 general election.

For those who already voted via absentee ballot, you’re sitting tight and waiting for results. For those who prefer to draw the curtain behind you and fill out the form, there is still time to ponder who will earn your vote.

One of those races is for the board. Three seats are open, and incumbents Jim Galli and Lj Silverman are up against challengers Gary Butler, Tomas Kaselionis and Tom Ryan.

If you intend to vote but haven’t made up your mind, we encourage you to flip open the voter guide you received in the mail. There’s a lot of solid information in there.
