A man who rented a room in a Black Point home has entered a guilty plea in Marin Superior Court to destroying items in the home back in April, according to a report in the Marin Independent Journal.
Kenneth Stateman additted to smashing a car window, ransacking the home and trying to light a portion of the home on fire, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies were alerted to a man vandalizing a house on Beattie Avenue in unincorporated Novato at 4:15 p.m. April 16, said Sgt. Mark Hale.
