Transitional Age Youth Services (TAY) Community Update

Announcement: Transitional Age Youth Services Update

San Rafael, CA -

On Thursday May 5, 2011 from 3-5 pm the at the Marin County Health & Wellness Campus, Connection Center, 3240 Kerner Blvd Room 110, San Rafael, CA 94901 there will be a free community update focused on the services available for youth ages 16-25 also known as “Transitional Age Youth”.  This panel presentation will provide information about the community supports available in Marin County for “at-risk” youth including those experiencing mental health and substance use issues. Many local organizations will participate including:

  • • Community Mental Health Services, Marin County Department of Health
  • and Human Services

  • • Novato Wellness Center/Novato Youth Center
  • • Phoenix Project

There will also be an opportunity for networking with individual providers. This event is free and open to the public; it is sponsored by the Community Mental Health Services, Marin County Department of Health and Human Services and the Connection Center Community Advisory Board for the Marin Health and Wellness Campus.
