New Interim Public Works Director Announced
Will oversee completion of Civic Center administrative offices and capital improvement projects
Novato has a new interim Public Works director.
Andrew Poster comes to Novato from Siemens and will take over for Jason Nutt who left in July to take a job with Sonoma County.
In his new job, Poster will supervise the final stages of the Civic Center construction and various capital improvement projects such as improvements to Novato Boulevard and Redwood Boulevard north of San Marin Drive. He will also oversee all repairs on city-owned properties.

Previously, Poster was an area manager at Siemens’s Road & City Mobility division where he oversaw maintenance, solar, energy efficiency and signage and signalization projects.
He has also worked as a traffic engineer for Daly City.
