Capital Improvements and Budget on Council Agenda

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Novato City Hall

City staff plans to go over capital improvement projects planned through 2017 and the operating budget recommendations for 2012-13 from City Manager Michael Frank on Tuesday night at .

The staff is working up a formal budget proposal for council review. Department heads went over their budgets on April 17, and now Frank plans to review his recommendations.

Frank is advocating general fund staffing additions worth $343,111, Measure F sales tax funds of $415,976, $115,000 in reserves and 378,183 in other general fund additions.

Capital improvement projects on the hitlist include parks & rec facilities, technology upgrades, transportation, drainage, utilities and other municipal facilities. The reports are informational and the council won't be voting on any of them.
