With Lynn Woolsey , we will soon get to pick our new representative in the U.S. Congress.
All 12 candidates vying for the seat have confirmed their reservations at a debate set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Dominican University's Angelico Hall. The election is June 5.
In alphabetical order, the candidates are Susan Adams, Andy Caffrey, Brooke Clarke, William Courtney, Larry Fritzlan, Michael Halliwell, Jared Huffman, Stacey Lawson, John Lewallen, Tiffany Renee, Dan Roberts and Norman Solomon. Woolsey, who has represented Marin and Sonoma counties in the 6th Congressional District for 20 years, announced she was stepping aside last June. The district has since been redrawn and changed to the 2nd District.
