Annual Fire District Toy Drive Gets Boost from PD

A donation of $750 was made to the Novato fire department's annual drive to distribute toys to local children in need.

gave a helping hand on the annual toy drive for need children with a $750 donation of new and unwrapped toys.

The donation came from a joint effort by the Novato Police Officer's Association and the Novato Police Manager's Association.

Novato firefighter/paramedic and toy organizer Tommy Gaulke made special arrangements to thank the Novato police officers their participation. Novato firefighters and police officers met at Novato's police department training room Tuesday to present the donation.

“I am amazed every year to see how generous people are to give so much to our children here in Novato,” Gaulke said in a press statement.

The gifts will distributed this holiday season to children through the Novato Human Needs Center and Novato Youth Center organizations.

Donations are being collected for the Novato Toy Program. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at any Novato fire station.
