Three Arrests Made For Drug Possession
Novato Police nab three East Bay residents in suspected drug deal.
The Novato Police Department performed a traffic stop on a vehicle with a broken vehicle tail light and ended up arresting three suspects on drug charges.
At 1:30 am, a routine traffic stop was made. Officer J. Ames and his canine partner “Metz,” trained in the detection of illegal drugs, responded to the scene and alerted to the presence of drugs inside the vehicle. A subsequent search yielded approximately 10 grams of methamphetamines, cocaine, concentrated cannabis, and drug paraphernalia. Other property located in the vehicle is still under investigation, according to the Novato Police Department.
