Suspect in Novato Robbery Arrested Before Making Bail in Sonoma County

Novato police arrested the suspect for a May robbery and booked him into Marin County Jail.

A 22-year-old suspect in the May home robbery on Hathaway Drive was arrested by Novato police department before the suspect made bail in Sonoma County on unrelated charges, according to a release from the Novato PD.

Bryan Scott Granados, a resident of Vallejo, was arrested on suspicion of robbery for the May 25 incident where a Novato resident, visiting a friend on Hathaway Drive, answered the front door and was robbed of his iPhone4 at knifepoint. The value of the loss was $549.99, according to the release.

Granados was identified in a photo line-up and a temporary warrant was entered for his arrest, said police.

On June 24, the Sonoma County Sherriff's Department contacted the Novato Police Department and advised the department that Granados had been arrested on unrelated charges and would be bailing out of jail.

Granados was arrested on suspicion of robbery by Novato police and was booked into the Marin County Jail with bail set at $75,000.
