Support Your Marin County Fire Department
This fire season is expected to be long and miserable. Help out your firefighters by attending this fundraiser pancake breakfast.
The Marin County Fire Department (MCFD) has a great holiday suggestion: Kick off the Fourth of July with a festive fundraiser breakfast at MCFD headquarters.
Firefighters will serve pancakes, eggs, sausages, juice, milk and donated Peets coffee from 7-11 a.m. at the Woodacre station. Also, representatives from the Lions Club will offer free retinal scans to evaluate eye health.
The cost is $10 or just $5 for kids 10 and under. All proceeds benefit local disaster councils, child protection services and charities.
