Power Outage at Hamilton Affects Computer Campers
A special effects computer camp is cancelled when a transformer is blown at Hamilton.
There are eight less happy campers at Hamilton due to a blown transformer on Laconheath Avenue, affecting 15 homes.
Howard Gersh is a Hamilton resident and visual effects expert for film and video who operates a week-long computer camp for kids from his home. He said that due to the power outage the camp would be cancelled today for his eight students. This is the last scheduled week of camp for the summer season.
PG&E crews were on site and said that they hoped to replace the transformer by 1 p.m.
