Police Sponsor Council Candidates Forum Oct. 6
Seven seeking three seats are to debate the issues at Novato City Hall.
A Novato City Council candidates’ forum put on by the Novato chapters of the Police Managers Association and the Police Officers Association is set for 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, in the chambers.
The forum is open to the public and will be taped for future viewing on .
The seven candidates running for three seats on the council are incumbents Madeline Kellner and Jeanne MacLeamy along with challengers Manny Fernandez, Jerome Ghigliotti, Eric Lucan, Leslie Peterson Schwarz and Eleanor Sluis.

Each candidate will have 3-5 minutes to make opening statements and closing remarks. In between, they’ll get 90 seconds to answer questions directed to each candidate.
