City Removes Dead Chicken Parts Spilled Along Rowland Blvd.

The poultry parts stretched about 100 feet down the road, and police are still looking for the truck driver responsible for the spill.

Novato Police closed a section of Rowland Boulevard near Rowland Way for about an hour today as the Public Works Department cleaned up a mass of poultry parts that had spilled from a transport truck.

The remains stretched about 100 feet along the roadway, and officers received several calls about the excessive amount of debris just after 1 p.m. Police haven't located the truck or the driver. Anyone with any information about the spill is asked to call the Novato Police Department at (415) 897-4361.
