Police Blotter - $100K Warrant and Send Son In Dominican Republic Money

January 16

1:02 pm – 00 block Bolling Dr.

Miscellaneous Penal Code Violation – Identity fraud. Letter received requesting money. Believe her ID information was obtained by identity fraud for storage unit that was auctioned off. Unknown suspect used her ID for employment purposes. Case taken.

4:48 pm – 200 block Vintage Way

Burglary – Manager was flagged down by teller to call 911. Subject later booked into Marin County Jail.

11:55 pm – 1500 block Center Rd.

Noise disturbance – Van playing with loud music disturbing reporting party. Made contact with subject in van who had an outstanding civil harrassment order. Was served verbally and advised to go to civic center to obtain hard paper copy.

January 15

2:49 am – Country Club Dr.

Alarm, audible – Home alarm sounding intermittently for the past hour. No alarms heard area of Country club, Eagle Par areas checked.

8:12 am – 00 block San Luis Ct.

Fraud – Unknown subject called saying he was reporting subject's son who was calling from the Dominican Republic and he needed money. Reporting party sent $1800 yesterday.

5:45 pm – 900 block Bolling Ct.

Warrant – Subject has a felony $100,000 warrant out of Sacramento Couty for 211PC (strongarm). Reporting party said subject no longer resides at address.

4:44 pm – 00 block Rockrose Way

Assist Citizen – Reporting party has gun for destruction in truck of vehicle. Owner of weapon stated he wanted to keep the pistol. Iot was previously a SFPD service pistol from when he started as a police officer. RP going to keep the pistol for sentimental value.

4:22 pm – 1500 block Hill Rd.

Burglary – Reporting party said items were taken from her mother's purse. No suspect info. Busienss did advise RP that someone was taking items from rooms. Case taken.

5:13 pm – 1100 block 1st St.

Encamp – Complaint of a homeless encampment next to 1st St. car wash. Two male subjects seen moving a couch to encampment.
