Novato police arrested three people Sunday following the report of one suspect burglarizing a business at Vintage Oaks Shopping Center.
Natasja Veronica Gray-Gamble, 19, of San Francisco was arrested on suspicion of stealing jewelry and makeup from a store at 5:05 p.m. Sunday, Novato police Lt. Jennifer Welch said. After the arrest, two of Gray-Gambles associates drew suspicion by hanging around the area and appearing to be waiting for patrol officers to leave, Welch said.
A short time later, the two got into a car that a police database showed as stolen from San Francisco, and they were pursued out of Vintage Oaks and onto Rowland Way. The car turned into a Taco Bell parking lot, and then three people got out of the car and took off on foot, Welch said.
Two suspects were caught — one inside the Century Rowland Plaza theater and one from the parking lot behind the theater, Welch said. The suspects — Nicholas Hamilton of San Francisco and Brianna Bell of Manteca, both 19, were arrested at 5:44 p.m. and face felony charges of possessing stolen property and stealing a vehicle.
