A single-engine plane lost its propeller and was forced to land safely at Redwood Landfill Thursday morning, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
The incident was not a crash landing, as the pilot, who was uninjured, was able to land the plane safely in an open area near the landfill, Sheriff's officials said.
