An expired car registration tag spotted by a offer Tuesday night led to the arrest of two people from Sacramento who admitted to drug trafficking, police said Wednesday.

After pulling over a car that was entering the at 7600 Redwood Boulevard, the officer found the driver to be without a license and with a warrant out for her arrest, said acting Lt. Jennifer Welch. Raquel Thanha Hill, 31, was then found to be in possession of cocaine packaged for sale.

The car's passenger, Christopher Dvaughn Williams, 28, tried to avoid being arrested on a warrant out of Fresno by providing a false name to the officer, Welch said. He had $800 in cash on him plus methamphetamines, according to the police report. Hill then admitted that the two were selling drugs, and both were arrested at 11:13 p.m., Welch said.
