All lanes of state Highway 37 in unincorporated Sonoma County have reopened Sunday morning after an overturned car slowed traffic for more than an hour and a half, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported on eastbound Highway 37, just east of Arnold Drive near Infineon Raceway, at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday, Officer Peter Van Eckert said.
A person was reportedly trapped in the overturned car, but Van Eckert said that person had later managed to get out of the car.
The person suffered minor injuries, he said.
A Sig-alert was issued at about 12:10 a.m. with the eastbound lane blocked by the overturned cars and emergency vehicles, he said.
Drivers were allowed to pass the area on the shoulder while the lane was blocked, Van Eckert said.
The lanes were reopened around 1:20 a.m.
